    The scheduling of lessons is based on flexibility. Looking ahead short-term to which specific Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays we can have a lesson has proven much more schedule-friendly and effective for both myself and my current students. I choose not to operate on a "definite weekly basis" for a few reasons: 

    As a member of the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony, I do not teach on the nights that a rehearsal is held. Rehearsals occur once, potentially twice per month, and sticking to a strict weekly teaching schedule would inhibit me from teaching into the early hours of the evening, further limiting the number of students I may teach in my studio.

    As the majority of my students are school-aged and enrolled in public school, I am aware that many after-school and extra-curricular events may come up with little notice. This allows a parent to make a prioritized choice ahead of time with options in regards to a lesson make-up or cancellation. 

    Monday lessons will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waverly. Tuesday and Thursday lessons will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Please contact me directly with questions regarding available teaching slots on these days.
